Mara’ee 5 to open on April 9

Manama, Apr.6 (BNA): Preparations are in full swing to inaugurate the fifth edition of the Bahrain Animal Production Show (Mara’ee 5). The 2019 edition of the five-day exhibition will open on Tuesday (April 9) under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. The exhibition will open its doors to visitors from Wednesday (April 10) – from 09:00 am until 09:00 pm to attend the show which is part of events that aim to consolidate Bahrain’s food security strategy. Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf visited the venue of the exhibition at the International Endurance Village and inspected on-going preparations. He thanked HM the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) President for his directives to hold Mara’ee 5 at the International Endurance Village in Sakhir. Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs Dr Nabeel Abul Fateh and Mara’ee 5 Executive Committee Chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa and other officials were also present.
