Bahrain welcomes convening of House of Representatives in Yemen

Manama, Apr. 13 (BNA): Bahrain has welcomed the convening of the House of Representatives in Yemen in a step that reflects the keenness of the Yemeni people and their adherence to their legitimate leadership and national values to achieve their aspirations for security, stability, development and prosperity. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement that Bahrain’s participation in the opening of the extraordinary session today in Seiyun in Hadhramaut, reflected the Kingdom’s commitment to the Arab Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen under the leadership of Saudi Arabia to reach a comprehensive peace solution to ensure peace and security in Yemen in accordance with the Gulf Initiative, its executive mechanism, the outcomes of the national dialogue and relevant Security Council resolutions, in particular Resolution 2216 (2015), ending all forms of Iranian interference that threaten Yemen's unity, territorial integrity and regional dimension.
