Bahrain-Malaysia strong relations stressed

Manama, Apr. 15 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa stressed that boosting economic cooperation between countries promotes investment and entrepreneurship. He affirmed Bahrain's keenness to bolster relations with Malaysia and enhance bilateral economic partnership, pointing out the promising capabilities of both countries given the location of Bahrain as a gateway to the Gulf region and an important regional financial and investment hub. He also underlined the need to take advantage of Malaysia's capabilities and distinguished status in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) group. HRH the Premier was speaking as he received at Gudaibiyah Palace today Malaysian Entrepreneur Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof and his accompanying delegation. The Malaysian Minister conveyed to HRH the Prime Minister the greetings of his Malaysian counterpart Dr. Mahathir Bin Mohamad and his best wishes of more progress and prosperity to Bahrain. HRH the Premier asked the Malaysian Entrepreneur Development Minister to convey his greetings to his Malaysian counterpart as well as his best wishes of more growth and prosperity to the Malaysian people. He praised strong and growing relations between both countries and common keenness to further bolster them for the best interest of both countries and peoples. He affirmed Bahrain's unrelenting efforts to promote the business and investment climate and boost its competitiveness and attractiveness to foreign capitals. The Malaysian Entrepreneur Development Minister expressed thanks and respect to HRH the Premier for his efforts to enhance bilateral relations, lauding deep-rooted ties binding both countries. He also praised the key role played by HRH the Premier in fast-tracking development in Bahrain, lauding the kingdom's achievements in various fields.
