Bahraini-Turkish parliamentary cooperation stressed

Manama, Apr. 15 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal lauded deep-rooted relations between Bahrain and Turkey and their growth at all levels thanks to the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. She was speaking as she received today Turkish Ambassador to Bahrain Kemal Demirciler. The Speaker underlined keenness of the Representatives Council to boost parliamentary cooperation with Turkey and pave the way for more economic projects to serve the interests of both countries and peoples. On his part, the Turkish ambassador praised comprehensive development in Bahrain in the prosperous era of HM the King, stressing support to promoting bilateral parliamentary cooperation. He also congratulated the Representatives Council Speaker on taking up the presidency of the Representatives Council, describing it as a distinguished achievement for Bahrain and Bahraini women.
