Bahrain strongly condemns terrorist explosions in Sri Lanka

Manama, Apr. 21 (BNA): Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist blasts that took place in Colombo and other cities in Sri Lanka, targeting churches and hotels resulting in the death and injury of hundreds of people. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended its condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Sri Lanka, and wished the injured a speedy recovery. The ministry affirmed in a statement Bahrain's solidarity with Sri Lanka against all forms of violence and terrorism, reiterating the Kingdom’s firm stance in rejecting all forms of extremism and terrorism, regardless of their motives, and called for concerted efforts to combat the dangerous scourge that threatens security and peace.
