Bahrain Parliamentary Bloc slams Al Sadr's statement

Manama, Apr. 28 (BNA): Bahrain Parliamentary Bloc stressed its categorical rejection of the statement of the leader of the Sadrist Movement, in Iraq, Muqtada Al Sadr and his blatant interference in the internal Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain. It described the statement about Bahrain as baseless and lacking truth as well as a despicable attempt to shake the kingdom's stability and interfere in its sovereign affairs under the pretext of Iraq's security. The members of the bloc affirmed that Bahrain is going ahead with the implementation of the reform project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to reap its dividends, especially in light of national unity, peaceful coexistence and good relations with the rest of the world. They stressed that national unity and people's allegiance to the nation and HM the King are the cornerstone of the kingdom's stability which will never be compromised. The bloc called on Al Sadr to address Iraq's internal affairs and confront the Iranian extension in Iraq in stead of involving himself in other countries' affairs. It demanded him to fight corruption in his country which he pointed out in his statement.
