Iranian, Albanian officials meet

Athens, March 31, IRNA - Head of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines of Albania Gjoke Uldedaj met on Monday with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Nahavandian.

In the meeting, the two expressed their willingness to expand
Tehran-Tirana relations in the trade and economic fields.

The Albanian official, meanwhile, said his country is keen on getting
familiar with the economic potentials of Iran in order to boost
bilateral trade cooperation with it.

He added the two countries should take effective measures for making
investments and holding trade exhibitions to pave the way for further
mutual ties.

Uldedaj said Albania enjoys considerable infrastructural opportunities
which can lead the country to fostering bilateral cooperation with
other countries including Iran.

For his part, Nahavandian explained Iran?s economic achievements and
expressed its readiness to develop trade cooperation with Albania.

Nahavandian added Iran is prepared for participating in joint economic
ventures with Albania.

He called for creating an economic cooperation council to increase
trade exchange between the two states.
