Interior Minister receives Naif University president

Manama, May 2 (BNA): Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received the President of Naif Arab Unversity for Security Sciences, Dr Abdulmajeed bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan and General Secretary of the Training Council of the University, Dr Khalid Abdulaziz Al Harfash. The Chief of Public Security attended the meeting. The minister welcomed the guests, hailing the strings ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He highlighted the training system was a priority of the Interior Ministry. He affirmed the importance of cooperation and coordination with specialised universities and education institutions. He valued the scientific and the cultural role of the Naif University in conducting security research and studies and the drafting of scientific reports. The President of the University expressed thanks and appreciation to the support of the ministry to studies and research organisations. He wished Bahrain progress and prosperity. The meeting was also attended by Commander of the Royal Academy of Police and Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training.
