Bahrain's advanced labour regulations praised

Manama, May 2 (BNA): Under the patronage of Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, the Indian community club in Bahrain has celebrated May Day, in presence of Ambassador Alok Kumar Sinha. The minister congratulated them on the World Labour Day citing the fraternal ties between the two countries, and praised the community’s contribution in Bahrain’s progress. The minister hailed His Majesty’s patronage of Bahrain's advanced humane laws and legislations that protect workers’ rights, welfare and productivity thus Bahrain was ranked in the high status widely-acclaimed by international agencies. The ambassador praised Bahrain’s heritage and values of tolerance, openness as the preferred destination for expatriates thanks to its advanced legislations that safeguard the rights of workers and expatriates, adding that the Indian community is proud to participate in the country's tremendous ongoing development.
