HRH Premier arrives in Kuwait

Manama, May 9 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa arrived in Kuwaiti today on a brotherly visit during which he will meet the Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, Crown Prince Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah and Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah. He will discuss with them ways of boosting bilateral relations and cooperation. HRH the Premier was welcomed on arrival at the airport by his Kuwaiti counterpart, the Deputy Premiers, senior officials and Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps. In a statement on arrival, HRH the Prime Minister expressed happiness about visiting Kuwait to meet the Kuwaiti Amir and extend to him Ramadan good wishes. He voiced the great respect shown to the Kuwaiti Amir at the personal and official level, pointing out the well-deserved international honour bestowed on Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah by conferring on him the title of Leader of Humanitarian Work. He lauded Kuwait’s honourable stances in backing the development efforts in the Kingdom of Bahrain, conveying the greetings and respect of the Bahraini leadership and people to the Kuwaiti leadership, government and people. HRH the Premier described the visit as an opportunity to underscore solid and deep-rooted historical ties binding the two brotherly countries and discuss ways of bolstering bilateral cooperation. He added the visit will also give the opportunity to meet the Kuwaiti Crown Prince and Prime Minister, wishing Kuwaiti further growth, prosperity and stability.
