Government to scrutinise EVN equitisation

Hanoi (VNA) - The Government Inspectorate will examine the equitisation of the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) Group and a number of its affiliates.

EVN subsidiaries subject to the inspection will be the Pha Lai Thermo-electric Joint
Stock Company, the Khanh Hoa Electricity Joint Stock Company and Electrical
Equipment Company.

EVN is one of the country's five major companies, including the Vietnam Posts and
Telecommunications Group, the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group, the Vietnam
Garment and Textile Group, the Vietnam Insurance Corporation and the Vietnam Tourism
Joint Stock Company, which were selected for inspection this year.

Earlier, the Government inspectors conduct inspection at the Vietnam Posts and
Telecommunications Group.-Enditem
