MoFA signs agreement with Edamah

Manama, May 15 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah) signed an agreement today.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, and the Chief Executive Officer of Edamah, Amin Al Arrayed, signed the agreement for their respective sides.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hailed the role of Edamah in reinforcing real estate development and strengthening the economy of the Kingdom to achieve the goals of Bahrain 2030 Vision. She also asserted the keenness of the Ministry to develop joint cooperation and coordination mechanisms with Edamah at all levels in the interest of both parties.
Dr. Shaikha Rana noted that the agreement forms a new partnership between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Edamah, which comes as part of the vision of the Ministry and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, to attain leadership in political and economic diplomacy, thus developing the Ministry’s work mechanisms and implement its plan to establish Bahraini embassies abroad, in order to reflect the Kingdom’s prosperity and success in various fields and elevate its status regionally and internationally.
Dr. Shaikha Rana highlighted the pivotal role of Edamah, and its economic strategies aimed at achieving the Kingdom’s objectives at various levels. She also noted the vital role of the company in providing lands and to create a competitive economic environment that contributes to the support of trade, industry and other related sectors.
The undersecretary affirmed that the Ministry attaches great importance to achieving the visions of the Kingdom of Bahrain economically, she also added that the Ministry is constantly working on achieving its objectives through the efforts of Bahraini diplomats abroad who are serving the Kingdom at the investment and commercial levels, stemming from the Ministry’s values in trade between the Kingdom of Bahrain and countries and organizations.
Dr. Shaikha Rana also affirmed that this cooperation is the beginning of greater partnerships to enrich the institutional work between the institutes of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its sectors, and will also ensure the long-term sustainability to support the developments in the Kingdom, which will be culminating in further successes in the coming period.
The undersecretary extended her sincere gratitude to the CEO of Edamah on his efforts in supporting the cooperation between the Ministry and the company, appreciating the role played by Edamah in the Kingdom’s economy.
Edamah is a real estate investment company and is one of the Kingdom’s established property developing companies.
