SCH Chairman reviews National Health Plan

Manama, May 15 (BNA): Supreme Council of Health (SCH) Chairman Lt-Gen Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa reviewed features of the National Health Plan 2016-2025, which aims at creating a secured health society, providing sustainable comprehensive health services of high quality, in addition to assisting citizens and residents to freely choose their health service providers. In the presence of the Health Minister, a lecture was held today at the Shura Council Committee Meeting Room within the framework of cooperation between the SCH, Health Ministry and Shura and Representatives councils, in which the SCH Chairman explained that the National Health Plan focuses on investing in health prevention, providing a comprehensive health network and finance services through setting up financing plans, encouraging health investment, recruiting qualified cadres, developing national health cadres, ensuring sustainable services, organizing and running the National Health Insurance System, in addition to improving the institutional structure.
