Shura reiterates solidarity with Saudi Arabia, UAE

Manama, May 16 (BNA): The Shura Council has strongly condemned the terrorist attack which used explosive-laden drones to target two oil pumping stations in Riyadh region. The council denounced the terrorist bid to sabotage the kingdom's vital economic installations and the region's security and stability. The council hailed the efforts of Saudi Arabia to combat all forms and manifestations of terrorism, and its keenness on spreading peace around the world, and supporting strategic plans aimed to boost peace and comprehensive development in all countries. The Shura Council denounced the sabotage attack on four vessels in the United Arab Emirates territorial waters in the Gulf of Oman near Fujairah, aimed to undermine the UAE's progress, and to threaten its security and stability. The council praised the UAE efforts to combat terrorism and to dry its funding sources and also praised the UAE efforts to safeguard the region's security and stability. The council reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain's unflinching and full solidarity stance in supporting the two brotherly countries to confront terrorism and sabotage, and expressed Bahrain's support to both countries in all the measures they take to protect their sovereignty and prevent the threat of terrorism. The council took pride in Bahrain's advanced cooperation with both brotherly countries to continue building and advancement in the various sectors, and reiterated the compatible stances with both brotherly countries to prevent the threat of terrorism and its supporters.
