Finance minister receives JBIC chief

Manama, May 16 (BNA): Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa stressed the importance of consolidation cooperation with Japan to create more investment opportunities. He commended strong bilateral relations and steadily-growing cooperation in all fields, hailing exchanged visits between the two friendly countries on all levels. This came as he received this morning a delegation led by Masaaki Yamada, Managing Executive Officer and Global Head of Energy and Natural Resources Finance Group, Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC). The two sides discussed joint cooperation, stressing the importance benefiting from the potential in both countries to bolster development programmes. National, local and international financial and economic issues were also discussed.
