Oil Minister inaugurates NOGA's annual electronic report 2018

Manama, May 18 (BNA): Under the patronage of Oil Minister, Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) held its Ramadan Ghabga and launched its Annual Electronic Report 2018. Officials and employees from NOGA and Oil & Gas Holding Company, CEOs of oil companies and media personnel attended. The Oil Minister extended deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, on the holy month of Ramadan, wishing them many happy returns of the occasion. The minister commended the tremendous efforts exerted by the workers in the oil sector. He highlighted the kingdom’s landmark achievements in the oil and gas sector, citing the oil and gas discoveries and the inauguration of the new oil pipeline between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, the third gas plant and the Bahrain Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal, among others. The minister also inaugurated NOGA’s Annual Electronic Report 2018, noting that it is in line with the government’s policies regarding digital transformation. The ceremony also featured the honouring of the local press for the key role it has played in highlighting NOGA’s activities and programmes through accurate and specialised coverage and reports.
