HRH the Crown Prince highlights the Kingdom’s far-reaching efforts to achieve sustainable development for citizens

Manama, May 19 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister, this evening visited the Majlis of the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force, HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Majlis of Prince Faisal bin Mohamed bin Shuraim Al-Marri, the Majlis of Abdulla bin Hamad Al Noaimi, and the Majlis of the Al Jalahma family. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, were also present at HRH’s visit to the Majlis of Prince Faisal bin Mohamed bin Shuraim Al-Marri. HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the Kingdom’s far-reaching efforts to achieve its sustainable development goals, which are aimed at meeting the aspirations of Bahraini citizens - in line with HM the King’s comprehensive development program. HRH the Crown Prince noted that the Kingdom’s major infrastructure projects represent a pillar of Bahrain’s economic advancement and stimulate the creation of further jobs for citizens. In this regard, HRH the Crown Prince stressed the importance of continuing to implement wide-ranging projects that further develop the Kingdom’s infrastructure. HRH the Crown Prince concluded by highlighting the important role the private sector plays in the Kingdom’s infrastructure development, emphasising that a modern and efficient infrastructure plays a key role in attracting investments and stimulates innovation. For their part, the Majlis hosts and guests expressed their gratitude for HRH the Crown Prince’s visit, and highlighted HRH the Crown Prince’s support to further developing the Kingdom’s infrastructure. HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa accompanied HRH the Crown Prince to the Majlis visits.
