Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism: "Peace to Prosperity" workshop will contribute to a prosperous future for the Palestinian people

Manama, May 19 (BNA): The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, His Excellency Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, noted that the "Peace to Prosperity" workshop, which will be hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain in partnership with the United States of America, will facilitate discussions on an ambitious vision and framework for a prosperous future for the Palestinian people and the region. The workshop will convene government, civil society, and business leaders and attract local and international participants from both public and private sectors, providing an opportunity to explore prospects for further prosperity. HE added that the Kingdom of Bahrain and its private sector are keen to take advantage of the opportunities that this workshop provides, noting that the workshop will provide a comprehensive introduction to the vision for economic growth and development in Palestine and the wider region. HE the Minister noted that sustainable growth requires open trade and joint strategic projects that benefit all. HE further noted that the workshop will discuss enhancements to economic governance, development of human capital, and facilitation of rapid private-sector growth. In this regard, HE went on to recognise the importance of continuing to promote innovation and creativity in order to overcome regional economic challenges, and provide the region with new opportunities.
