Mercy Corps Mongolia organizes seminar on livestock measures during disasters

Arkhangai /MONTSAME/. A seminar under the theme, ‘Instructions and standard for livestock measures during disasters’, was organized for corresponding officials of the agricultural departments of Erdenebulgan, Ulziit, Battsengel, Ikhtamir, Undur-Ulaan, Khairkhan, Chuluut, Tsetserleg, Erdenemandal and Jargalant soums of Arkhangai aimag on May 15-16. They learned about the common standards for measures for livestock and livelihood during disasters, the four-step method to make the first evaluation as well as how to determine the appropriate measure for livestock-based livelihood as according to the LEGS standard and guideline.
