HRH Premier congratulated on WHO honour

Manama, May 21 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, passports and Residence Affairs Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa on being chosen and honoured as a “World Leader” by the World Health Organisation (WHO). Shaikh Rashid hailed the WHO honour, the first of its kind in the organisation’s history, which recognises HRH the Premier’s clear role in the health field and contribution to sustainable development. He praised HRH the Prime Minister’s comprehensive vision to optimize services for citizens and boost their welfare. He noted that the award is a continuation of the array of accolades conferred on HRH the Premier at the regional and international level which reflect the respect he enjoys from the international community.
