HRH Premier congratulated on WHO honour by Foreign Undersecretary

Manama, May 22 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa on being chosen and honoured as a "World Leader" by the World Health Organisation (WHO). Shaikha Rana said the high international recognition reflected HH the Premier's outstanding achievements in the fields of development and humanitarian projects. It also reflects the contributions of His Highness the Prime Minister to the development of the health sector in Bahrain to international standards, she added. The fact that the WHO honour is the first of its kind in the organisation’s history is a source of pride and a confirmation of the deep respect enjoyed by HH the Premier thanks to his achievements and accomplishments in sustainable development, mainly in the health sector in particular, Shaikha Rana said.
