Bahrain condemns attack on US military convoy in Kabul

Manama, May 31 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the terrorist attack that targeted a US military convoy in Kabul, the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and resulted in the death and injury of a number of people including American officers. The Ministry expresses its condolences to the families of the victims and wishes the injured a speedy recovery. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms solidarity with the United States of America in its efforts to combat violence, extremism and terrorism throughout the world. It also reiterates the stance of the Kingdom of Bahrain which rejects terrorism in all its forms, and calls for strengthening international coordination and efforts to end this scourge and dry its sources of funding.
