Speaker lauds royal speech

Manama, May 31 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal stressed that His Majesty the King’s keenness to head Bahrain’s delegation to the emergency GCC and Arab summits and the 14th session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), in Makkah, underlines the kingdom’s unwavering stance in supporting the GCC, Arab and Islamic work to protect national security and promote collective action. The Representatives Council Speaker lauded the speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the Arab Summit, commending the wise royal vision on maintaining security and stability and confronting terrorism. She reiterated the parliamentary full support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE in all efforts made to preserve their security and stability. She asserted the need for concerted efforts by the Arab countries to confront the Iranian interference. The Representatives Council Speaker hailed the pioneering role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in maintaining regional security and stability and fostering pan-Arab and Islamic work to confront current challenges.
