Bahrain to host Future Court of Entrepreneurship

Manama, Jun.1 (BNA): Positive Impact Consulting will organise, in partnership with the Khaleejiy Port for Consulting and Training (Khaleejiy), the “Future Court” event, under the theme “The Future of Entrepreneurship in Bahrain”.
Held at the Diplomat Hotel, at 09:30 am on Saturday, June 22nd, the event is organised in strategic partnership with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), and in cooperation with a number of government and private institutions.
Ebrahim AlTamimi, the initiator of the project and the Chief Executive Officer of the Future Court, said that “creating the culture of anticipating the future and promoting it in various aspects of public and private work, and across all sectors that are related to human life are essential engines of the development process.
This ‘trial’ will enable us to chart an integrated strategic process for the future of entrepreneurship in Bahrain, and to turn challenges into opportunities to achieve sustainability in various vital sectors, thus ensuring growth and development.”
Al-Tamimi said that during the “Future Court”, 15 standards for entrepreneurship in Bahrain will be introduced through a simulated court session aimed at measuring the readiness of entrepreneurs and business supporters for the future in Bahrain.
Founder and Managing Director of Positive Impact Consulting, Amira Mahmood, pointed out that the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) account for 98% of active institutions in the kingdom, which makes exploring the future of this vital sector and assessing the readiness of the financing and training services for the future an important matter in order to enhance the national economy and achieve comprehensive sustainable development.
Chief Executive Officer of the Khaleejiy Port for Consulting and Training, Bader Al-Dossary, stressed that the recommendations of the “Future Court” will provide an opportunity for public and private sectors’ officials to anticipate the future of entrepreneurship in the kingdom, and to strengthen their ability to take the right decisions and put forward future scenarios on scientific bases, international standards and pioneering work methods.
CEO of the Future Court called on SMEs’ owners, entrepreneurs and all those interested to attend the first-of-its-kind event in Bahrain to benefit from what will be presented and discussed during it, adding that the registration link will be available on www.khaleejiy.com as of June 12, 2019.
