Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques receives US President

London, April 02, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received here this evening at his
guest residence in London President Barrack Obama of the United
States of America.

During the audience, they discussed the efforts being exerted
by the two friendly countries in the framework of the international
efforts seeking to revive the global economy and overcome the crisis
the world is witnessing now, in order to restore its trend towards
growth and prevent the continuation of the problems it faces.
The two leaders also discussed the developments at the
regional and international arenas, particularly the situation in
Palestine and the need to achieve just and comprehensive peace that
guarantees the Palestinian people to establish their independent
State on their national soil, in accordance with the resolutions of
international legitimacy and the Arab peace initiative.
The talks included the prospects of cooperation between the
two friendly countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields to
serve their common interests.
The two leaders have highlighted the strong ties binding the
two countries and the continuous development they witnessed since the
meeting which had brought together both the late King Abdulaziz and
His Excellency the former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt to the
present day, stressing the importance of promoting these ties in a
way serving the interests of the two countries and peoples.
The audience was attended by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister
of Foreign Affairs, and a number of high-ranking Saudi and American
officials.
