Capital Governor patronises World Social Media Day celebration

Manama, July 1 (BNA): Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa patronised at the InterContinental Regency hotel the World Social Media Day celebration which is observed on June 30. He described the annual event as an opportunity to bring Bahraini youngsters and experts together to exchange views, especially with Bahrain’s potentials to create a technological environment similar to advanced countries. The International Social Media Club Chairman Ali Sabkar underlined the influential role of the club in upgrading social media platforms and boosting the role of beneficial media work. On inaugurating a book by digital marketing expert Hatem Al Kameli, he noted the importance of the book for experts, praising the efforts of the writer in compiling it.
