Khammuan allocates 100 ha for cassava plantation

(KPL) The Land Management Authority of Khammuan province signed early this week an agreement to provide 100 ha of cultivation land to the Best Time Agricultural Development Co., Ltd of Malaysia for planting cassava.
The agreement with 15 years of concession was signed by Mr. Phouvieng Khanthavong, Deputy Head of Land Management Authority of Khammuane and Mr. Phouming, President of the Best Time Agricultural Development Co., Ltd.
Mr. Sivongsay Laoly, representative of the Best Time Agricultural Development Co., Ltd disclosed that the company will pay 6$US per hectare and a year to the Lao government for the said concession.
