AT&T WILLIAMS SET FASTEST TIMES IN FIRST PRACTICE

SEPANG (Malaysia), April 3 (Bernama) -- The AT&T Williams' drivers Nico
Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima set the fastest times in the first session of the
official practice at the Sepang Circuit here Friday.

Rosberg and Nakajima clocked one minute 36.260 seconds and 1:36.305s
respectively, leaving Australian Grand Prix champion Jenson Button of Brawn GP
Team 0.170s adrift with 1:36.430s.

Meanwhile, two drivers had an off-track moment during the practice session.
They are Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen and Renault's Nelson Piquet Jr.

Raikkonen was forced to pit about five minutes towards the end of the
session when smoke filled his Ferrari's cockpit. Initial report said it was a
problem with overheating batteries from the new KERS energy recovery system.

Meanwhile, Piquet skidded into the gravel towards the end of the session.

The session began in track temperature of 33 degrees Celsius and rose to 42
degrees Celcius at the end of the session.

The second practice session will be held at 2pm.
