Bahrain-Morocco ties praised

Moscow, July 3 (BNA): Speaker Fouzia bint Abdullah Zainal today met Morocco Parliament Speaker Habib El Maliki, in presence of both countries delegations on the sidelines of International Parliamentary Forum currently held in the Russian Federation’s capital Moscow. Zainal hailed the robust fraternal ties nurtured by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HM King Mohammad VI, lauding the cooperation, understanding and coordination regarding Arab, regional and international issues. She praised the exemplary constructive and fruitful cooperation in the interest of both brotherly countries and peoples. She stressed the two countries key role in supporting Arab issues especially in view of the present situation and challenges facing the Arab nation that require more Arab integration, cooperation and coordination. She also stressed the compatibility of views between the two countries as well as the significance of boosting economic and commercial cooperation among the Arab countries to activate the joint Arab work in the face of surrounding risks mainly terrorism that poses a direct threat to the security and territorial integrity of Arab countries. The Moroccan Speaker affirmed the distinguished fraternal ties featuring understanding, amity and shared vision between the two countries leaderships, affirming Morocco’s unwavering stances in support of Bahrain’s right to its safety and stability, praising the solid Bahraini stance in supporting Morocco’s sovereignty over its Sahara region. Al Maliki affirmed his country’s keenness on bolstering its cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields. He invited the Bahraini speaker to visit Morocco Kingdom to activate the joint cooperation and friendship committees between the two countries.
