Warm welcome for Bahraini delegation in Sarajevo

Sarajevo, July 5 (BNA): Sarajevo Mayor, Abdulah Skaka, has hosted a dinner banquet in honour of the Bahraini delegation to the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO)’s conference here. The dinner banquet was held at the historical building of the symbolic world-famous Sarajevo Library which was burnt down by the Serbs and was rebuilt and re-opened recently. During the ceremony, Assistant Undersecretary for Information and Follow-up at HRH Premier’s Court, IFTIDO President, and Honorary President of the Bahrain Society for Training and Development (BSTD), Dr. Ibrahim Al-Dossari, spoke about the Bahraini-Bosnian relations, highlighting the kingdom’s constant support for the Bosnians. He stressed that the participation off about 70 persons in the IFTIDO conference proves Bahrain’s keenness to enhance cultural exchange and back the efforts of friendly countries to spread fraternity, peace, tolerance and knowledge. Sarajevo Mayor praised the support of the Bahraini leadership and people to the Bosnian people since the outbreak of the devastaing war there, noting that the kingdom’s support has contributed significantly to the return of normal life and peace to his country. On the occasion, the Sarajevo Mayor and the head of the kingdom’s delegation exchanged commemorative gifts.
