Electricity Minister receives peace society delegation

Manama, July 6 (BNA):Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a delegation from the Shoa’lat Almahabah Walsalam Society, led by Chairman of the Board of Directors Ateyatalla Hasan Mohammed Roohani. He praised the efforts of the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors in serving the Bahraini community, and to affirm the principle of peace and love among all, which is represented by the Bahraini society. He also stressed the importance of supporting and encouraging all associations and institutions out of the society’s keenness to serve the homeland and the people. The visiting delegation presented to the minister the society's shield in appreciation of his contributions to the dissemination of a culture of love and peace. The meeting reviewed the society’s programmes and activities. The visitors said they were keen to learn more about the solar energy systems to activate the utilization of clean energy and contribute to the production of electricity from renewable energy. Dr. Mirza gave the delegation a presentation on the plans and projects of sustainable energy in Bahrain, which gave a clear picture on the procedures of connection and utilization of solar energy at public and other facilities. The society’s chairman and Board of Directors expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to the minister for the welcome and the hospitality and for his support, encouragement and positive cooperation.
