Foreign Minister receives IOM’s chief of mission’s credentials

Manama, July 9 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received in the Ministry’s General Court today, Mr. Mohamed El Zarkani, and received his credentials as Chief of Mission of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The minister welcomed Mr. El Zarkani and highlighted the distinguished efforts exerted by the International Organization for Migration in providing aid as well as humanitarian and financial support for those in need, stressing the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance cooperation with these vital projects and support them to achieve their objectives, wishing him success. Mr. El Zarkani expressed his utmost appreciation for the Kingdom’s initiatives and its tireless efforts, which constitutes a model for the countries of the world in guaranteeing rights and freedoms and providing protection for expatriate workers and combating trafficking in persons. He also praised the Kingdom of Bahrain's achievements in this field, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
