ABEGS 2015-2020 strategy reviewed

Riyadh, July 11 (BNA): Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi met General Director of the Arab Bureau of Education for Gulf States (ABEGS) Dr. Ali Abdul-Khaliq Al Karni. The meeting was held during the minister's visit to Saudi Arabia and upon ABEGS request to review the Ministry of Education (MoE)'s remarks pertaining to the office's 2015-2020 strategy. The minister reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's support to the office including its studies and programmes aimed to boost the joint work for educational progress. Dr. Al Karni expressed his gratitude and appreciation of the support to the office in Bahrain which ensured the success of its work and projects in coordination with Bahrain's Education Ministry. The minister emphasized the need for the office to consider the compilation of studies, workshops in pace with latest developments in the world and in harmony with the requirements of the twenty-first century to boost the performance in higher, technical and vocational educational institutions, and teachers and students skills.
