Electricity Minister receives Nexant delegation

Manama, July 14 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a delegation from Nexant International, led by Dr. Babul Patel, Regional Director of the Energy Sector. Executive Vice President of Distribution and Customer Services at the Electricity and Water Authority Adnan Mohammed Fakhro and Alexander Al Samahiji, Acting Executive Director of the Sustainable Energy Centre were present. Nexant is a company that specialises in providing technical consultancy in various fields including electricity, water and renewable energy. The minister welcomed the attendees and listened to an explanation of the company's activities and programmes at the international level and their projects around the world, and their desire to offer their advisory services and establish a partnership of cooperation with the electricity, water and renewable energy sector in Bahrain. The minister gave the visitors a presentation on the achievements of Bahrain in the electricity, water and sustainable energy sectors and reviewed with them the investment opportunities available in these areas. The delegation thanked the minister and the officials for the warm welcome and the hospitality.
