Foreign Minister meets Kairos Company's Founder, CEO

Manama, July 15 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, today met the Founder and CEO of the Kairos Company, Rev. Johnnie Moore, in Washington , in the framework of the Minister’s official visit to the United States. The Foreign Affairs Minister noted the progressing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States at the economic, political and security levels, as well as the development of joint cooperation. He also praised the relentless efforts of the United States to promote freedoms and rights all over the world and combat extremism and terrorism in all its forms, in addition to its endeavors to spread coexistence and tolerance, stressing the Kingdom’s support for these efforts. Rev. Johnnie Moore expressed delight in meeting the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hailing the pioneering initiatives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to promote religious coexistence, inter-faith dialogue and peace across the globe. He added that amongst these initiatives is the establishment of The King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Co-Existence, The King Hamad Chair in Inter-Faith Dialogue and Peaceful Co-Existence in Sapienza University, as well as the Bahrain Declaration on Tolerance among Religions. He also stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is now considered a role model in the field of freedom of religion, pluralism and tolerance and respect for all religions, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
