HH Shaikh Nasser receives Apostolic Vicar of Northern Arabia

Manama, July 25 (BNA): Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for youth and Sports (SCYS) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received the Apostolic Vicar of Northern Arabia Bishop Camillo Ballin. He stressed Bahrain’s long-standing status as a successful model in religious tolerance and coexistence, pointing out the initiatives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to foster those values and promote interfaith and cultural dialogue. HH Shaikh Nasser underlined Bahrain’s tremendous efforts to foster religious tolerance and coexistence, lauding the humanitarian efforts of Camillo Ballin and wishing him every success. Ballin expressed thanks and respect to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the gracious welcome and for his unflinching keenness to consolidate the values of goodness, tolerance and coexistence.
