Bahrain condemns terrorist explosion in Egypt

Manama, Aug. 5 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemns the terrorist explosion that took place near an oncology institute in Qasr al-Aini, Egypt, resulting in the death and injury of scores of people, including children. The Ministry affirms the Kingdom of Bahrain’s solidarity with the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt in its fight against terrorism and all the actions it takes against those who try to undermine its security and stability. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its sincere condolences to the leadership, government and people of the Arab Republic of Egypt as well as to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to those injured in this heinous terrorist act. The Ministry also reiterates the Kingdom of Bahrain's stance in rejecting all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism, stressing the need for concerted international efforts to eradicate terrorist groups and those who fund and support them.
