Finance Minister receives Huawei Bahrain CEO

Manama, Aug. 5 (BNA): Minister of Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa received today Huawei Bahrain Chief executive John Lu Yuedong and his accompanying delegation. He stressed that the Information Technology (IT) and telecommunication sector is vital and plays a key role in the national economy. He also pointed out the ongoing efforts to promote the growth of various sectors by providing an attractive investment climate. The Minister of Finance and National Economy stressed capability of the IT and telecommunication technology in boosting the development momentum and promoting creativity and innovation in various sectors. The meeting shed light on the latest international developments in the IT and telecommunication field as well as other issues of common interest.
