Finance Minister receives AMF delegation

Manama, Aug. 8 (BNA): Minister of Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa stressed that Bahrain’s fiscal performance is progressing constantly towards a balance point between expenditure and revenues in the general budget according to the Fiscal Balance Programme which was launched in October 2018. He pointed out that all results achieved have been positive and support the nation’s growth and prosperity within the comprehensive development march. The Minister of Finance and National Economy was speaking as he received a delegation from the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF), headed by Director General and Board Chairman Dr. Abdulrahman Al Hamidi. They discussed cooperation between the Ministry of Finance and National Economy and AMF as well as issues of common interest. Al Hamidi lauded continuous cooperation between both sides to attain forecast aspirations.
