HM King receives call from Pakistani Prime Minister

Manama, Aug. 9 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a telephone call from brotherly Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Imran Khan. Prime Minister Khan updated HM King Hamad about the latest developments in the Kashmir Privince. HM the King and Prime Minister Khan stressed the long-standing fraternal relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, noting that the steady growth of bilateral ties in various fields embodies their importance, and affirms the two countries’ keenness to continue their coordination and consultations, as well as resolve to carry on bolstering and broadening cooperation bewteen them. The two leaders also emphasised the importance of strengthening the pillars of security, peace and stability, and the need to resolve all disputes in accordance with the principles of good neighbourliness and the International Law. HM King Hamad and the Pakistani Prime Minister exchanged views vis-à-vis regional and global issues of mutual interest.
