Shura chairman congratulates Indian counterpart

Manama, Aug. 14 (BNA): Shura Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh sent two cables of congratulations to Chairman of India's State Council Venkaiah Naidu and People's Council Speaker Om Birla on their country's independence anniversary, wishing the friendly Indian people further progress and prosperity. Al Saleh sent a similar congratulatory cable to Ambassador of India to Bahrain Alok Kumar Sinha, in which he praised the deep-rooted ties between both friendly countries and peoples.
