Shura chairman praises Bahrain’s WAFF victory

Manama, Aug. 15 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on Bahrain’s winning the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) Championship 2019, that concluded recently in Iraq. Al-Saleh stressed that the landmark victory is the fruitful outcome of HM the King’s unwavering interest in supporting Bahraini youth so as to attain national achievements in various fields. The Shura Chairmran valued highly the efforts exerted by the government,led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, to provide all requirements of success for Bahraini youth. Al-Saleh also praised the efforts and constant follow-up of HM the King’s Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Chairmran of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, noting that HH Shaikh Nasser’s promise to bring about a qunatum leap in the sports sector has yielded fruitful results. The Shura chairman extended congratulations to the players, as well as the administrative and technical staff of the National Football Team.
