VICTIMS OF PLANE CRASH IN BANDUNG EVACUATED TO AIR FORCE HOSPITAL

Bandung, Apr 6 (ANTARA) - Victims of Air Force's Fokker 27 aircraft which crashed and was burnt at Husein Sastranegara airport in Bandung, West Java, on Monday at about 1 pm were evacuated to Salamun Hospital belonging to the Air Force.
ANTARA monitored ambulances till 3.30 pm were seen busily running from the airport to the hospital which is located on Cimbeuluit Street in Bandung.

ANTARA had contacted medical attendants at the hospital for further information but they were reluctant to comment. They however admitted that they received several victims of the ill-fated aircraft.

Information on the number of the victims was still uncertain. Some sources said the victims numbered 17 student pilots but others said the plane carried 23 passengers consisting of servicemen who were on a regluar parachute jumping exercise.
