M'SIA: 50 MEN VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 (Bernama) -- Fifty men were victims of domestic violence between 2005 and 2007, the Senate was told Monday.
Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Noriah
Kasnon said the reasons for the violence included a lack of tolerance between
husband and wife, no understanding, stress and hot-tempered wives.
Replying to questions raised by Senator Heng Seai Kie, she said that during
the same period, 1,278 cases of domestic violence involved women.
