M'SIA CAN REVITALISE FASTER UNDER NAJIB, SAYS FMM
KUALA LUMPUR, April 7 (Bernama) -- Malaysia will be able to revitalise faster than expected under the stewardship of Prime Minister Najib Razak, says the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM).
"With all his years of experience and with his soon-to-be-announced team of
Cabinet Ministers, we are confident the new PM will help us find a way out to
the right path," president Mustafa Mansur said Monday.
He said FMM felt that an effective leader can take charge at any time,
regardless of the conditions of the economic environment, despite some saying
this is possibly the worst time for entry by the new PM.
Mustafa noted that the smooth hand over of power signalled Najib's
acceptance by all and this certainly augured well for Malaysia's future.
"Especially so in these trying times, our country needs to make concerted
efforts to pave the way to recovery from the current global economic turmoil.
"Under the current scenario, we should not waste time on other
counter-productive issues and work as one to find solutions," he added.
