HM the King: Bahrain will remain a beacon of peace

Manama, Sept. 18(BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has today received, at Al-Sakhir Palace, senior officials, Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) chairman, presidents of the Sunni and Jafferi Endowments Councils, heads of the community centres, who greeted HM the King on the end of the Ashoora Season.
They expressed deepest thanks and appreciation to HM the King, hailing the royal directives for government agencies to provide all services and facilities during the Ashoora Season. They praised the freedom to celebrate religious rituals and the spirit of closely-knit family linking all Bahrainis, hailing the annual royal gift to charity societies, community centres and Husseinyas.
HM the King commended the efforts exerted by heads of community centres to celebrate the annual religious seasons and supervise the organization of rituals in cooperation with different government’s bodies. HM the King delivered a speech welcoming the audience on the end of the Ashoora rituals, stressing religious values which preach amity, harmony, moderation and tolerance.
He said that the Kingdom of Bahrain embraces and protects religious rituals, which reflects its ability to cultivate civilized coexistence, adding the Kingdom will remain an oasis of fraternity and a beacon of peace. He thanked the heads of community centres and Husseinyas for following up the organization of the Ashoora rituals, commending the Government’s agencies for their efforts. He praised the Ministry of Interior for proving all required security and community services during the Ashoora season.
He reiterated thanks to the heads and members of the Sunni and Jafferi Endowments Councils for assuming their responsibilities in serving worshipping venues developing the Islamic endowments. Jafferi Endowments Council Chairman Youssef bin Saleh Al-Saleh delivered a speech, on behalf of all members of the Jafferi Endowments Council, heads and directorates of community centres, Husseinya processions and events in all governorates across the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He paid tribute to HM the King, hailing royal care for worshiping venues, religious events and rituals, particularly the Ashoora season which were celebrated successfully thanks to the outstanding organisation. He commended HM the King’s appointment of the Sunni and Jafferi Endowments Council, vowing to spare no efforts to assume their duties in total responsibility and probity and work with utmost dedication.
He paid tribute to the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for their support and keen follow-up. He praised the strenuous efforts exerted by the Ministries of Interior, Health and Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, as well as the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) during the Ashoora season. He underlined the success of the Jafferi Endowments Directorate in holding the Ashoora season in partnership with the Government’s bodies and non-governmental parties.
Jafferi Endowments Council Chairman Youssef bin Saleh Al-Saleh prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HM the King with abundant health, happiness and long life and the Kingdom of Bahrain with security, safety and stability. Poet Mohammed Hadi Al-Halwachi recited a poet before HM the King on this occasion.
