N. Korea state-run TV broadcasts rocket launch footage

PYONGYANG, April 7 Kyodo -
North Korea's state-run television on Tuesday broadcast video footage of
Sunday's rocket launch by the country, which Pyongyang says put a satellite
into orbit.
In its news broadcast in the evening, Korean Central Television Station showed
the white three-stage rocket blast off into the sky.
According to the footage, the word ''Korea'' was written in Korean on the first
stage of the rocket. The national flag of North Korea was drawn on its second
stage.
The news program also showed the satellite control and command center as well
as a monitor set up in front of it, and the rocket while it was on the
launching pad.
