INDIA OFFERS SCHOLARSHIP FOR CRAFT INSTRUCTOR

KUALA LUMPUR, April 8 (Bernama) -- The Indian Council for Cultural Relations
(ICCR) is offering 10 bursaries to member states of the Commonwealth for
training of Craft Instructors for the academic year 2009-2010.

The High Commission of India here said in a statement Wednesday that the
training would be at the Advanced Training Institutes located at Mumbai and
Hyderabad, and the Central Training Institute, Chennai.

These scholarships are for durations of between six months and one year
commencing in August 2009 to July 2010, it said.

The application forms are available at the Education Section of the High
Commission Of India (Tel:03 20933510 extn 410) or it can be downloaded from
www.indianhighcommission.com.my and the last date of receipt of application is
March 20 April 2009, the statement added.
