Dr. Khoja makes inspection tour of Eastern Region-based

Dammam, April 08, SPA -- The Minister of Culture and Information Dr.
Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja made today an inspection tour of the
Eastern Region's information centers.

He toured the radio studio and television station in Dammam, before
visiting the new television station and the Sihat-based short-wave /
AM /.

Dr.Khoja inspection tour included also the Eastern Region-based
Branch of the Ministry of Culture and Information and Dar Alyoum
Printing Press where he met with its editing board.

In a statement following the tour, he said that the Kingdom is
witnessing a marvelous development in various fields and the Ministry
of Culture and Information is seeking to keep pace with the civilized
development of this generous country through a comprehensive vision
for the development of the Culture and Information Ministry's
thought, administration, and audio-visual media action.

The Ministry is seeking via the Saudi days abroad to communicate with
different peoples and civilizations, through openness and dialogue
with the other in line with the policy of the Government of the
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the
Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister
of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, Dr. Khoja.
