POLICE ARREST SUSPECTS IN ABEPURA RIOT
Jayapura, Papua, April 9 (ANTARA) - Police arrested at least eight people charged with attempting to attack the Abepura police precinct in the eastern Indonesian province of Papua early Thursday.
The eight suspects were later taken to the Papua provincial police headquarters for questioning, a police source said.
The eight are identified as Alberto Wandipko, Misele Wandipko, Franky, Aleks, Gerson, Matias Kogoya, Bina Hubby and Erich Lobo.
An Antara correspondent observed Bina Hubby suffered shot wounds on his foot and Erich Lobo on his stomach.
The two are receiving medical treatment at the provincial police
